One of my favorite places to photograph at is Hoffman Park in Hampton NJ. I like both entrances of the park. By the main entrance of Hoffman Park, there is a walking path and also a pond that you can photograph around. In the spring time it is so pretty with all the new buds and life coming back from a long winter’s slumber. Near the other entrance of Hoffman Park, you can often times hear or see the train passing through. The trail that is there leads both sides together. In the fall, it is a miraculous sight to see with all the fall foliage. There is plenty of room to run there and let the kiddos have fun and explore.

Hoffman Park
Hoffman Park in Hampton NJ offers many nooks and crannies to play in and explore for the kiddos. When I photograph families, I like to make sure that the kids at the session have plenty of room to roam and be safe. The kids can have a tendency to get bored at any type of session and when we are outside I love to offer them the opportunity to pick up things and get their hands busy. This also offers for a great way to add extra images into the gallery.
Your own Family Session
As a mother, one of the beauties of having children is watching them grow and view things from their point of view. I often times will photograph these moments of my own kids. Adults tend to forget all those first times. It is easy to get caught up in life as an adult. Children are amazing miracles. Their naiveness allows them to do the things we as adults cannot. This is one of the things I love the most about photographing your own family session. Each family is unique and magical.
As you can see above in the image gallery, this sweet girl and her momma and I met up at Hoffman Park. She was such a joy to photograph. Her smile is so joyful and she was so willing to pick up leaves, sticks and other things that nature offers to explore and bring them into the photos. This momma and daughter at their family session sang and danced and played together and it was an honor to photograph them.
