Family Photography Session in Stewartsville, NJ

Wow–fall is always my busy season, but fall family photography sessions have kept me epically busy this year! I wouldn’t have it any other way. Fall is a great time to get professional, updated family photos. The weather is usually still cooperative, and the photos make great holiday cards.

We did this family photography session at a remote farm in Stewartsville, NJ. It was a great location. Lots of rustic wood and stone, plus beautiful fields and trees. And of course the fall colors were gorgeous, as always.

The Perfect Time for Family Photography

No matter what stage of life your family is in, it’s the perfect time for photos! Mom wanted photos of everyone, but the kiddos in this family were teenagers and not sure they wanted anything to do with it. Persuasion is a key skill of a family photographer though! I put my skills to work and we managed to get some great images–and have a ton of fun doing it! These kids were hilarious. Even though they weren’t super enthusiastic about pictures, they were still good sports about it and kept me laughing. Their whole family is such a lot of fun to be around.

Your Family Photographer

For me, family photography is about capturing those details that make your family unique and special. I love to get to know my clients so I can showcase their personalities. Every family is different, and every one is precious. Because of this, I strive to make my sessions memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved. Your session should be as much about the experience as about the finished product.
