Family Photographer Pennsylvania

I had so much fun being the family photographer for this sweet group a couple of months ago. One of the best things about being a family photographer is the chance to watch children and families grow. I have been photographing these little ones and their parents for a few years now. It’s been such a joy to watch their kiddos grow and develop!

Photographing Children

Whenever I photograph children, I try to capture their personalities and make sure they have fun at the same time. I believe that every experience with your family photographer should be a great one, so I specialize in child-led photo sessions. I find that allowing little ones to take the lead results in a happy experience and genuine, beautiful photos.

For this family photography session, we were in the great outdoors. It’s the perfect setting for children to relax, play, and explore. I had fun playing games with these two little ones and putting them at their ease so we could get some really fun, natural pictures.

The oldest child in this family is absolutely hilarious. I just follow him around with my camera and see what happens! He is an active little guy with a big smile and a sense of adventure to match! His little sister is the total opposite of her brother. Quiet and observant, she enjoys figuring things out by watching the world around her. She’s adorable and equally fun to photograph, just in a different way. It was wonderful to watch them both explore and capture their different interests and personalities.

Choosing Your Family Photographer

I believe that your family photographer’s style should reflect your family culture. This is one of the reasons that my family sessions are child-led: I want your session to be uniquely yours, and an accurate reflection of who you and your kiddos truly are. For this reason, I focus on people rather than props. If this sounds like a good fit for you, I hope you’ll contact me! My Flemington, NJ studio allows me to serve families in Princeton, Hillsborough, Doylestown, and surrounding areas. If you don’t live in New Jersey, we can still make it work. This session was shot in Tinicum Township, Pennsylvania. Enjoy the photos!
