Having a baby at HMC in Flemington NJ?  If so, I would love to work with your growing family and take some of the most precious pictures for you.  Hunterdon Medical Center has a wonderful maternity ward and they are so extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to growing your family.  I love these hospital sessions.  So much is going on during those first 48 hours and it is all very much a whirlwind.  If you have a studio newborn session I offer these fresh 48 sessions at a discount to newborn clients so you have the best of both worlds, a lifestyle and a posed newborn session.  I tend to really focus on all the tiny details during these hospital picture sessions.  Newborns are ever changing and I love to document that for families.  From the minute they are born they start to change and morph into these beautiful little babies; it is really amazing to watch.

The Hospital pictures are very different from our studio pictures in that for a Fresh 48 session, they have to be done within the first 48 hours of birth and the sessions last about 40 minutes.  A studio session needs to be done within  the first 3 weeks of birth and last about 2-3 hours.  Both are amazing experiences and offer gorgeous galleries afterward.

This twin session was so much fun.  Both babies had the sweetest personalities and the biggest characters.  I could have photographed them all day.  Twin pregnancies are so amazing. I am the momma to all singletons but I can only imagine all the beauty that goes alongside a twin pregnancy.   To birth 2 babies at once just proves to me how amazing the human body is.  Not to mention the fact that this particular momma had one baby “normal” and one baby born feet first (breech)! I was so surprised to hear that but it made me very happy that in the hands of the proper medical professionals and support team it can be done.  My favorite aspect of this twin session was how different the babies were/are.  One was awake and kinda grumpy the whole time while the other snoozed without a care in the world of what was going on around him.  It really was a lot of fun.  Afterwards I asked mom and dad if I could use the babies for a studio session as a model call and I am so glad that I did.  I will post those pictures soon I promise!
