Somerville New Jersey, Fresh 48 Hospital Pictures

I love these hospital sessions.  I know, I know, I think I say this every time I post a blog post about a Fresh 48 session.  There is just so much realness about them.  I really adore them.  Parents can opt to be in or out of the pictures.  Many times mommas and daddies are just too tired after all the excitement so they let the focus be entirely on the baby.  I loved this fresh 48, we really just played it by ear and let baby girl lead the way.  We had a special Oma visit during her session and I was really honored to capture part of that visit for baby Hazel.

The best part about Fresh 48 sessions…?  I am in and out within 40 minutes.  I know how much family wants to come in and visit and its also so important for moms and dads to get their own snuggle time and plenty of rest therefore, I tend to be quick.  However, quick or not, I still capture so much beauty in these sessions.  Newborn babies change so much, so I make sure to capture all those sweet details for families to swoon over for years to come.

The second best part about these sessions…?  Watching families grow.  I also photographed her older brother and you can see part of his session here.  I can’t wait to post Hazel’s newborn session from when she came to see me in the studio. Her pictures are just beautiful!
