When should I book my newborn session?

It is important to book your newborn session ahead of time in order to make sure you are given a spot.  It is recommended to book during your second trimester when possible.  I do leave openings for a few last minute bookings, so even if you are in your third trimester, just contact me and i will do my best to get you in.

 

How long will my newborn session last?

Newborn sessions last anywhere for 1.5 to 4 hours.  It really depends on the newborn.  It takes a few minutes per pose to get a baby settled into them.  This also leaves some time for feedings, diaper changes, and burpings during the session.

 

Are siblings and parents allowed to be in the pictures?

YES!  In fact, we encourage them to be.  There is no extra charge for parents, siblings and grandparents to have their pictures taken with your baby.

 

My newborn session is booked, when do I let you know that my baby has been born?

It is suggested to call or email me within 24 hours of giving birth.  When you book your session with me in your second trimester, I will pencil you in on your EDD.  So once your baby has arrived, let me know within 24 hours so we can put you in the schedule.

 

When should I book my maternity session?

For maternity sessions, I recommend between the 7th and 8th months of your pregnancy.  This time frame is good because by then you should have a nice round belly but still feel comfortable enough to do your photoshoot.  It is good to call about 3-4 weeks ahead of time to get on our schedule.

 

What about a wardrobe?

I offer a wardrobe for all my clients.  I have a wide arrange of clothing for both newborn boys and girls. I also have a few little dresses for little girls.  For little boys, it is always nice to have them dress similar to their dad or to be in solid clothing.  For maternity clients, I offer several dresses that are a one size fits all size.  If you ever have a question regarding your wardrobe for a photo shoot please contact me and I would be more than happy to help you out and give you some tips.

 

When do we pay for our session?

Payment is due at the time you book your session.  For larger packages, a deposit can be made at the time your session is booked with the balance being completed on the day of your session.

 

How long will it take to receive my gallery?

All galleries are delivered within 5 weeks of your session date.

 

When can we do our session?

Session appointments can be scheduled Monday through Sunday either in the morning or afternoon.

 

Where can sessions be?

Newborn sessions are in studio.

All other sessions can be: In studio, on location etc.
